
Terms of Service
At Arcane Customs, we take pride in providing high-quality custom fabrication, repair, and modification services. To ensure transparency and professionalism, we ask all customers to review and agree to the following shop policies prior to any work being performed.
1. Parts & Product Policy
Customer-Supplied Parts
Arcane Customs does not provide any warranty, guarantee, or responsibility for parts, materials, or products provided by the customer.
Any customer-supplied part that is faulty, defective, incorrect, or incompatible will result in additional labor charges if removal, modification, or reinstallation is required.
If a customer-supplied part causes a delay in project completion, Arcane Customs is not liable for loss of time or additional storage fees incurred.
Shop-Supplied Parts
All parts provided and installed by Arcane Customs are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable.
Arcane Customs’ warranty covers only workmanship directly performed by our technicians, not the manufacturer’s components themselves.
2. Fiberglass & Aftermarket Components
Any and all fiberglass, carbon fiber, or aftermarket body components (whether made by Arcane Customs, ordered by Arcane Customs, or provided by the customer) may not have perfect fitment due to variations in manufacturing tolerances.
Arcane Customs will perform the necessary trimming, sanding, alignment, and modification to achieve the best possible fitment within reasonable limits.
Slight imperfections in panel gaps or mounting alignment are considered standard in the aftermarket industry and are not covered under any warranty or refund claim.
3. Paint & Finish Policy
All paintwork performed by Arcane Customs carries a limited 3-month workmanship warranty from the date the vehicle leaves our facility.
This warranty covers paint defects caused by improper application or workmanship by Arcane Customs.
The warranty does not cover:
Rock chips, scratches, dents, or scuffs caused by road debris or impact.
Damage due to washing, waxing, or chemical exposure.
Damage caused by environmental factors (UV exposure, weather, sap, bird droppings, etc.).
Any negligence or accidents occurring after the vehicle leaves Arcane Customs property.
Color match tolerance may vary slightly (within industry standard) for blended or custom-painted panels.
4. Workmanship & Labor Warranty
Arcane Customs warranties its labor and craftsmanship for 30 days on non-paint services (e.g., mechanical installs, fabrication, body alignment) unless otherwise stated in writing.
Any modifications or disassembly by another shop or individual after leaving Arcane Customs will void all warranties.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing and inspected in person by Arcane Customs before any action or compensation is considered.
5. Payments, Deposits & Estimates
All Major projects (>$5,000) require a minimum 50% deposit before work begins. All minor projects (<$5,000) require parts deposit for all parts ordered or made by arcane customs. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the vehicle is released.
Estimates are subject to change based on unforeseen issues, additional parts required, or customer-requested changes during the build or repair process.
All parts and labor must be paid in full prior to vehicle pickup. No exceptions.
Late payments or abandoned vehicles may incur storage fees of $45 per day after 3 business days past completion notice.
6. Vehicle Storage & Responsibility
Arcane Customs takes reasonable precautions to safeguard vehicles while in our care. However, we are not responsible for loss or damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control.
Vehicles left beyond 30 days without communication or payment may be considered abandoned and subject to mechanic’s lien and/or sale in accordance with state law.
7. Project Timeframes
Project timelines provided are estimates only and may change due to parts availability, complexity of work, or unforeseen issues.
Custom fabrication, paint, or bodywork often requires additional curing, fitting, or testing time for quality assurance.
Arcane Customs will communicate updates and any schedule changes as needed.
8. Media & Promotional Use
Arcane Customs reserves the right to photograph and/or record vehicles before, during, and after work for documentation and promotional purposes.
Photos and videos may be used on our social media platforms, website, or marketing materials unless the customer requests otherwise in writing prior to work starting.
9. Test Drives & Quality Checks
By leaving your vehicle with Arcane Customs, you authorize our staff to perform test drives and quality control checks as necessary to confirm proper operation and safety of the vehicle.
This may include both short local drives and, if applicable, highway testing.
10. Customer Responsibility
Customers must disclose any prior modifications, wiring changes, or damage that could affect work being performed.
Arcane Customs is not liable for pre-existing issues discovered during the course of work.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all estimates and invoices carefully before approving or paying.
11. Liability Disclaimer
Arcane Customs shall not be held liable for:
Any loss of use, income, or inconvenience due to vehicle downtime.
Damages arising from parts failure, third-party work, or customer alterations after pickup.
Incidental or consequential damages of any kind.
12. Agreement
By authorizing work (verbally, in writing, or by leaving your vehicle at Arcane Customs), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this policy.
